Self storage is the rental of a lockable unit that only the tenant can enter. You rent the space for as long as you need it, decide for yourself what goes inside, and collect your belongings yourself: with no warehouse staff, no paperwork at a counter and no opening hours.

The floor area is similar, but a storage unit is dry and monitored, while a cellar in a block of flats is usually neither. You also rent it for as long as you need, rather than acquiring it with a flat.

One: insurance of stored items is mandatory and billed separately — you choose the cover level when you rent, and cover starts from PLN 12 net/month. Beyond that there is no deposit, no joining fee and no charge for utilities or site entry. The figure in the price list is what you pay each month.

No. One month is the shortest possible period. If you only need the space for a few days you will still pay for a full month, but nothing else is required of you: once you give notice, the rental simply ends.

We do not run a left-luggage office. LOCKIT is storage rented by the month. If you are looking for somewhere to leave suitcases and belongings during a longer trip, unit S is more than enough and starts at 125 PLN net for a month.

You give notice no later than 7 days before the end of a billing period, empty the unit and remove your padlock. There is no notice period counted in months and no early-termination fee.

Yes, if you give that person your access code and the key to your padlock. You remain responsible for who enters the unit, which is why companies are best off deciding in advance which employees have access.

Yes. You close the unit with your own padlock and you hold the only key. Do not have one? You can buy a padlock from us on site for 30 PLN net, so there is nothing to arrange before you arrive.

The site is covered by video monitoring, on-site security and access control, and every unit is closed by the tenant's own padlock — we do not hold a key. The units are dry and clean, they have their own floor so nothing sits on bare ground, and they are locked and out of the light — unlike a typical cellar. Furniture, electronics and documents packed in boxes come out as they went in. The units are not heated, so the temperature follows the weather outside; for furniture, equipment and files that makes no difference, because what damages them is damp rather than cold.

Rule of thumb: one room = unit S (3 m²), a flat up to 50 m² = unit M (6 m²), a house or large flat = unit L (12 m²). If you misjudge it, you can change size during the rental.
